first light
Price moved. Volume answered. Not loudly, not all at once. Just enough to notice if you were watching the right thing.
The range had been quiet for weeks. Every push lower met the same patient bid. Effort went in; result did not come out. Somebody was absorbing what the crowd was desperate to sell.
Most people look at the line. We look at the space between the high and the low, and at what it cost to get there.
Tonight the desk reads it again, the way it does every night. Quietly. Without opinion.
First light is not a signal. It is the moment you realise the chart has been talking all along.
